In recent years, there has been increased recognition of the presence of human trafficking in Singapore. Conducted by Humanitarian Organization of Migration Economics (HOME), this study was commissioned in order to:
1. analyse the link between human trafficking and migrant domestic labour in Singapore,
2. identify relevant patterns of trafficking indicators,
3. identify the strengths and weaknesses of Singapore’s law and policy in addressing such indicators, and
4. make recommendations as to steps which can be taken by the Singapore government and other stakeholders to improve the response to trafficking within this sector.
